What is support for recovery via group therapy?
Group therapy, as the name implies, is a type of psychological therapy that is conducted with a group of people, rather than between an individual and mental health professional. Usually, people in the group are facing similar issues, like anxiety or depression.
There can also be group therapy for individuals with Schizophrenia. Contact Dr. Lavanya Seshasayee FOUNDER of the GWRM [GLOBAL WOMEN'S RECOVERY MOVEMENT] for conducting group therapy sessions for individuals with Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Depression as also anxiety and fear. Remember these are just labels that need not define your complete identity as a person!!! The GWRM currently doesn't deal with addiction. But we shall in the future. You could also contact Dr. Lavanya Seshasayee for one on one sessions to facilitate the client's RECOVERY. Thank you.
