From the perspective of the individual with a mental health issue, recovery means gaining and retaining hope, understanding of one’s abilities, engagement inactive life, personal autonomy, social identity, meaning and purpose in life, and a positive sense of self. So what are my tips for recovery? 1. As a client, you  should do anything that feeds into a sense of well-being for you and is constructive.
